Pinpoint your current map reference location anywhere in the world using the Universal Transverse Mercator geographic coordinate system (UTM). The app provides UTM Grid Ref, Hemisphere, and WGS84 Latitude and Longitude values.
Your device's indicated accuracy of readings will also be displayed. Additionally, you can share your location via Twitter by tweeting it.
Grid Ref UTM is an app that operates internationally and includes a graphical guide to the United States (USA) UTM Zones.
This app is ideally suited for walkers, hikers, and outdoor sports enthusiasts. It is highly recommended that you always carry a map and physical compass when engaging in outdoor pursuits.
For best results, use the app in a flat position, similar to using a traditional compass. It is also recommended to use the app in an open space, away from trees, buildings, and sources of interference.
To ensure the continuous on-screen display of Grid Reference information, please set your Auto-Lock preference in the 'Settings' App (Settings -> General -> Auto-Lock).
The app is compatible with handsets that have GPS hardware. Please note that you may need to grant the app permissions to access this information.
